Mountain hut Ütia de Bioch

“Ütia de Bioch” is a typical mountain hut, edified with wood and renovated recently, where you can still discover ancient tradition and customs of the alpine population. The Alpine hut  is the reference point for all mountain lovers, skiers and hikers who frequent the Dolomites and Alta Badia in every season. It is easily accessible by the chairlift which has the same name, Bioch. The shelter has a large sunny terrace with bar and restaurant. Here you can enjoy aperitifs, simple dishes, Ladin, Tyrolean and Mediterranean cuisine, homemade desserts, and a great selection of wines. We also serve gourmet dishes, with the event "Skiing with Gusto" and "PicNic Gourmet" by chef Norbert Niederkofler: a 3 Michelin star restaurant, the St. Hubertus (Hotel Rosa Alpina in San Cassiano). In summer you can reach us using the ski lifts or with a short, healthy walk on the mountain pastures of the Dolomites. You easily access from San Cassiano, La Villa or Corvara. To the delight of children and parents, the refuge can be easily reached with the stroller from the lift of Piz Sorega (30'), Piz La Ila (60'), Col Alto (60') and Pralongià (40'). In summer the Ütia de Bioch has a nice playground for children and is surrounded by a lawn.
